The Active Blind Spot Assist system makes one of the biggest dangers in road traffic visible – vehicles in the blind spot.

The Active Blind Spot Assist system makes one of the biggest dangers in road traffic visible – vehicles in the blind spot.

When changing lane, for example, it can warn the driver and apply selective braking to individual wheels to avert a potential collision.

Available only in conjunction with Driving Assistance Package PLUS.


Active Blind Spot Assist is operational at speeds over 30 km/h. Course-correcting braking interventions can be made in the speed range from 30 to 200 km/h.
