ATTENTION ASSIST is able to recognise signs of driver fatigue or loss of attention, and prompts the driver to take a break.

To do this, the system continuously monitors driver behaviour and steering movements, and gives the driver a visual and audible warning of impending microsleep. This can increase driving safety, particularly on long journeys and when driving at night.

ATTENTION ASSIST is active in the speed range between 80 and 180 km/h.
