    More engine power and comprehensively updated design make the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Saloon even more appealing following the facelift. Thanks to its independent design and increased output of the 3.0-litre V6 twin turbo engine totalling 287 kW (390 hp), the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Saloon is a very appealing introduction to the world of performance. On the outside, the vehicle leaves no doubt about its origins: the new AMG front apron and the typical AMG radiator grille featuring twin louvre and "AMG" lettering as well as the new rear apron with striking diffuser and two, round twin tailpipe trims underline the perfect epitome of everyday suitability and sporty character. The AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed transmission bring out its sports car qualities to the full.

    The most prominent feature of the extensive facelift for the new C-Class is the hallmark AMG radiator grille, of course. However, the output of the AMG 4.0-litre V8 twin turbo engine has also been boosted to 350 kW<p>Figures for rated output and rated torque pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 715/2007 in the currently applicable version.</p> (476 hp) for the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Saloon. The maximum torque remains at 650 newton metres. The new AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed sports transmission allows shift times at almost motorsport level. An emotive 8-cylinder engine sound comes courtesy of the standard-fit AMG sports exhaust system and can be further enhanced by specifying the optional adjustable AMG performance exhaust system.

The AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with three-stage damper adjustment enables lateral acceleration and grip at the highest level to make the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Saloon an extraordinary performance vehicle. Thanks to AMG DYNAMIC SELECT with specific AMG "Ice", "Individual", "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport" drive modes, it is possible to adapt numerous parameters of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Saloon. As the most powerful C-Class model, it also features the "RACE" mode.
