Parking and exiting a space made easy.

Parking Pilot with PARKTRONIC makes finding a parking space as well as parking and leaving a parallel or on-end parking space easier.

If the vehicle is travelling slower than 30 km/h, the system indicates with a "P" symbol and a direction arrow in the multifunction display of the instrument cluster that it has located a suitable parking space. When the driver engages reverse gear and confirms the suggested parking space, Parking Pilot with PARKTRONIC automatically carries out the steering manoeuvres. The driver only needs to operate the accelerator and brake pedal; parking is completed in a maximum of seven moves. The driver can intervene at any time and correct the parking manoeuvre.

The Parking Assist PARKTRONIC, an electronic parking aid, monitors the front and rear of the vehicle during manoeuvring and warns the driver if it detects a potential collision.
